The Tower Circus is positioned at the base of the tower, between its four legs. The circus first opened to the public on 14 May 1894 and has not missed a season since.

The present interior was designed by Frank Matcham and was completed in 1900.

The circus ring can be lowered into a pool of water and holds 42,000 US gallons (160,000 l; 35,000 imp gal) at a depth of up to 4 ft 6 inches, which allows for Grand Finales with Dancing Fountains. The Tower Circus is one of four left in the world that can do this.

The clown Charlie Cairoli appeared at the tower for 39 years. Britain's best-known ringmaster Norman Barrett worked the ring for 25 years.

Animals appeared in the circus until 1990.

It was planned to close the circus at the end of the 1990 season and replace it with an animatronic attraction. Public opinion and the fact the animatronics were not ready meant that the circus continued.

Today, the circus is produced and directed by Hungarian Laci Endresz, who is married to Maureen, one of the Roberts family who have a long association with the Tower Circus. A live band (sometimes accompanied by Mooky the Clown) provides all the music for the show, often dynamically syncing with the performers' movements. The circus band play a variety of different songs, usually Latin for the acts. In the winter the circus stages a pantomime instead of the regular show.

Like my friend said, Landmark Tower looks like headquater of evil ;) . It`s very interesting building, one of the highest in Japan ( 295.8 m (970 ft) high ), containing a five star hotel which occupies floors 49-70. The lower 48 floors contain shops, restaurants, clinics, and offices.

As hersir of Valholl, the Jarl commanded Elon Chorian to inspect the defenses. So together with the Jarl, Steen and Glorfindel. We can conlcude Valholl is safe behinds it's walls and mighty towers! So Drow beware, you'll never get in!

This part of Valholl is based on the area with the barracks from my micro-scale Valholl: City Map

Poppies, Tower of London commemorating World War one which started one hundred years ago. The last poppy will be placed on 11 November when there will be 888,246 one for each British military death.

Let us not forget the sixteen million military and civilian deaths world wide in this conflict.

Vista de diferentes minaretes y un campanario en el casco antiguo de Mostar (Bosnia). La fotografía no tiene nada apreciable técnicamente hablando, pero me gusta el hecho de que estos templos estén tan cercanos unos de otros.

Minarets and a church's bell tower in Mostar's old town. The picture in my opinion is bad, but I liked the fact of having three mosques and a church in such a small space.

Tokyo Tower, Shibakoen Tokyo

Alloa's greatest attraction is Alloa Tower, the largest surviving keep in Scotland it was built by the Erskines. The first phase of the building was erected in the 14th century but as the wealth and prominence of the family grew, so did Alloa Tower. The Erskine's were granted the much coveted title of the Earls of Mar by Mary Queen Scots who was also a frequent visitor to Alloa Tower in her childhood. By the end of the 18th century, Alloa Tower was merely an annexe to a grand mansion that had grown up around it. However, all but the Tower was destroyed when a fire swept through the place in 1800 and the buildings constructed in their stead have since been demolished.

The Torre Agbar is a 21st century skyscraper in Barcelona. It was designed by French architect Jean Nouvel. The Agbar Tower measures 144 meters and consists of a 37 stories, including 4 underground levels. The building is one of the most unique in Barcelona, becoming the third tallest building in Barcelona, only after the Arts Hotel and the Mapfre Tower, both 154m .
