I found this metal detecting in Sussex?

Short mowed trail. Token Creek Natural Resource Area from 4001 Hwy 19, Deforest

Six tokens overlaid as the reverse lettering aligns. The tokens were punched from brass sheets on the island in 17mm and 19mm sizes. I speculate the brass sheets were for some product produced and sold from the island. One proposal is that the third line of text on the brass sheets read CENTAVOS. I have placed the one token with VOS in that position, but it may be incorrect. Two tokens on the lower left with the same lettering indicate that more than one brass sheet was used.
