Torino Pride 2023
Pride month 2023 is coming to an end and once again leaves my heart full of joy and appreciation for this huge celebration of love.
Pride month to me is the echo chamber of the only message that really matters any day of the year: "You are love. You are loved."

ARC trooper Frost stood on docking platform 717 waiting alongside ARC Flare and Sargent Wake for their newly formed TTitanium squad. Part 1itanium squad, consisting of fifteen troopers. Frost: "I thought they were sending us fully grown troops, not just a bunch of inexperienced boys," showing his disapproval. Flare: "Give 'em a break Frost, some of these 'boys' as you call them, have as much experience as you and me, and the shiny ones are top of their class." Frost: "Well, I still don't think they'll watch our backs for us." Just as those words flew out of Frost's mouth, the clone without his helmet on said, "Heh, who does that gray ARC trooper think he is calling 'a shiny'?" Sargent Wake, who had been keeping quiet, shouted at the trooper asking his nickname and number. The clone rolled his eyes and said his name was Buzzard. Sargent Wake replied "I repeat what is your number, your conduct could get you court marshaled for insubordination!" Buzzard retorted, "how would you like it if all of a sudden some Sargent started yelling at you? I have sixty-seven combat missions under my belt and I've destroyed 90 clankers and 12 destroyer
Droids, I DESERVE MORE RESPECT!!!!!! Meanwhile the other troopers looked on in amazement as this veteran trooper openly defied his superior. Frost, quickly dismissed the two troopers before anything big started. He raised his voice and said, "Well what a way to start a mission, I hope you all know what you're doing here, but just in case I'll say it again so listen up! The droid factory on Ringo Vinda, is manufacturing thousands of battle droids a rotation. Also it is rumored to be a research hub with new weapons appearing often, If the power reactors can be shut down and key installations destroyed, it will save the lives of hundreds, even thousands of our brothers" After this all the men were silent. Frost said their shuttle would arrive very soon, so every clone should triple check his weapons and gear. An ARF trooper from the 501st who called himself Grinder nervously asked Frost what were the odds of them surviving and Frost was just about to answer when one of the pilots from their shuttle arrived to say it was time to move out. "All right then boys, you heard the pilot lets get rid of those clankers! Frost said.
My first story mission of many to come!
I thought maybe some of you guys might want to make up multiple story lines to go along with this one it might be fun! Hope you enjoyed my build!

Olympus digital camera. This is the Motherland statue, which is at The National Museum of The History of Ukraine in the Second World War. When I visited in 2003, I was very moved by the exhibits. In particular photos of smart young servicemen in their formal uniforms who had subsequently been killed during the war, and a table laid for a meal; again commemorating the dead.

Although I'm well known in various cirlcles for my fondness for naked backpacking...
winter is no time to fool around with such 'unnecessary exposure'.
I'm no stranger to 'getting caught with my pants down'...
but I never like it.
Well... almost never.
Heading out into the wintery cold to go commune with nature... take some 'wildlife' pictures or show the Swedish twins Heidi and Helga a good time calls for gear you can trust.
This review is probably eight years in the making.
A spectacular capture of my night launch of the LOC IV on an Aerotech J340 Metalstorm at DairyAire by Tony Slajs. I think this was the largest motor of the evening.
After a perfect flight on a H120 Redline, I borrowed Tom's spare motor, which shifted the center of gravity behind the center of pressure, and instability ensued.
The last launch of the night made for a pretty picture. With a bit of epoxy and fiberglass, the airframe will be ready to fly again.

My 2013.5MY Ford Mondeo Titanium X Hackney Carriage Taxi getting fettled at the hand car wash on Sipson Road right next door to London Heathrow Airport in London (UK).
A very thorough wash was conducted here as expected. Much cheaper to than my usual local hand car wash too. This place is AxeAdvisor recommended.
Note the option fitted at extra cost (when new) 18 inch '5x Y spoke' alloy wheel(s).

A variation of my popular silver and titanium panel ring-- this one has panels impressed with a sunflower pattern, giving it an industrial look that is, at the same time, somewhat subversive.
It is 5/16" wide with panels slightly smaller than 1/4". It is a size 8.
