Pride month 2023 is coming to an end and once again leaves my heart full of joy and appreciation for this huge celebration of love.
Pride month to me is the echo chamber of the only message that really matters any day of the year: "You are love. You are loved."

Look what I got myself for my J.Guillem Orient. A fitting Titanium Seat Post for my Titanium bike. Made from cast titanium and with 3T Difflock System.
(In a pinch one can make quite usable product shots even with an iPhone :))

This is the Rollei 35 Classic Titanium, produced by Rollei Germany from October 1990 until the end of 1996. The lens is a Rollei Sonnar 2,8 / 40mm.
Camera set price in 1996 was DM 2,800 ($ 1,400).

My friend and regular model lived with a painful case of scoliosis. I also have a mild case and initially I dismissed her decision to have invasive surgery even though she described a great deal of discomfort. Hers really was more serious so she had corrective surgery about a month ago and is on the mend. Predictably, I wanted to take a picture and she was up for it, but she wanted to wait until the scabs were gone. I didn't want this shot to be entirely about the scar, but there are some others from the series that are overt. At this distance, the red wall deactivates the color of the scar and the hair lends a herd within which the scar can hide. She's really happy with the surgery and moving around, you wouldn't even know.
