The Monument to the Conquerors of Space was erected in Moscow in 1964 to celebrate achievements of the Soviet people in space exploration. It depicts a starting rocket that rises on its exhaust plume. The monument is 110 meters (360.9 feet) tall, and is made of titanium.

Fuji Television HQ building located in Tokyo water front is an outstanding skyscraper which has very eye-catching aluminum structure designed by Japanese architect Kenzo Tange.
A titanium sphere circumscribed by cube has a diameter of some thirty meters and weighs 1, 200 tons. It was installed to be used as the observation room with amazing night view of the big city.
You can hire whole observation room if necessary for the important event such as proposing marriage, Fuji Television Network says on its website.

Primera incursión en la fotografía urbana y de arquitectura, aprovechando una escapa a Bilbao para enseñarle a mi hija el museo y alrededores.Creo que los niños han perdido la capacidad para asombrarse y la verdad es que ni se inmutó,yo por mi parte no dejo de alucinar con esta maravilla del diseño arquitectónico.
Seeing as the previous earring images I put up are attracting viewing figures I thought I would put a couple more up for your delight.
These are Titanium Metal earrings, bought when this metal was all the rage in jewellery back in the late eighties, early nineties, from a craft and jewellers shop in Rye, East Sussex, UK.
And yes, I did wear them. And I might well do again now.

A product of Lockheed's infamous 'Skunk Works', Kelly Johnson and his team solved the problem of generated heat by constructing the aircraft using both Aluminum and Titanium 'sandwiched' together
One thing that the SR-71 never suffered with was metal fatigue as every time the aircraft flew, the structure actually became stronger

The People's Friendship Arch / (Arka druzhby narodiv/Арка дружби народів), in Khreschatyk Park, Kyiv (Kiev), Ukraine.
Built in 1982, along with the Ukrainian House International Convention Centre, the 50m high titanium arch was built by sculptor A. Skoblikov and architect I. Ivanovto to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the USSR, and the 1500 anniversary of the founding of Kyiv. Below it stands a statue of the workers of Russia and Ukraine holding up the Soviet Order of Friendship of Peoples. In recent years it has been temporarily painted rainbow colours and renamed the Arch of Diversity for Eurovision, and had a temporary crack installed in it to highlight the damage ongoing tensions with Russia are having on the relationship.
