Built for the LEGO Speeder Bikes 2017 contest, in the Vastland Cross category. I went with a Power Miners aesthetic and had fun using parts in lime green and orange.
Rugged and reliable, the sheer noise of its four jet thrusters earned Titanium Thunder its name. Always a strong contender in the Vastland Cross, it will be even more likely to win with 'Rock' Grey piloting this year: well known for his strength, persistence, and skill, Rock is the perfect choice to pilot this magnificent machine.

i like the vintage look of the FM2, also the titanium honeycomb curtain that allows it to have a fast shutter speed up to 1/4000 sec, but i just don't have the time to wait to finish the whole roll before i can take it to develop when i am doing the project 365, i promise later after i finish the project i will start using the film cameras again!

Been shying away from these light forms since the bandwagon was well and truly jumped upon, but couldn't resist a quick hit and run in a choice, sensitive location for a rendezvous with the mothership. Tried to get this shot on the the previous night but was hindered by an over exuberant 7 year old assistant. Much slicker tonight and back home and medicined up for the chest infection by 8:45pm
Single exposure of 95.7sec and not the 52sec as originally quoted from a sloppy test shot ! f5.6 ISO 200 through a 10.5mm Nikon Fisheye which makes the dome look larger and flatter and the sphere a whole lot smaller. The sphere is approx 5m in diametre and dwarfed the light dome that created inside it on the first visit.

This is a hi-tec science sculpture as opposed to a climbing frame. Shortly after it was installed it was rolled down the hill into a lake where it sat for some time before being affixed its current concrete base.
Watched from about 10 metres by what I thought was a stray dog that actually turned out to be an inquisitive urban fox.

David Guetta - Titanium ft. Sia
A cool and refreshing morning, back at the Merlion Park again. I returned specifically for this photo with the clear reflection of the cityscape, which I didn't manage to capture due to the tight timing involved.
As with the previous weekend, after alighting from the first train, it was a fast walk to the park. Along the way, I readied my camera for the shots, a skill which I acquired unknowingly through all the light chasing attempts.
I managed to bag 2 sets of images before the Merlion begun doing its thing.

I have finally arrived at my destination, my friends house. Thankfully without any more “Incidents”. It’s not exactly a house, it’s an abandoned office building (most building are abandoned around these parts now a days). He sells artifacts and other strange and valuable things. I open the door and walk in (I have a key). I don’t hear him but I do hear a faint scraping sound coming from a back room. I stealthily walk over with my hand on my knife ready to pull it out at the first sign of danger. I’m mildly surprised at what I see.
???: Oh, hi Fil.
I relax. There’s Joe (my friend), standing there at his work table polishing a strange shaped gemstone.
Fil: Hi Joe. I was afraid something bad happened.
Joe: Something bad? No, everything is as usual. Did you bring what I requested?
Fil: Yep.
I pull out a small case about the size of my hand. I hand it over to him. He opens it and I see it’s lined with velvet. It has some sort of black rock siting in it.
Joe: This’ll fetch a pretty price. You want the usual 50% going into your safe?
Fil: Yep, as usual.
Joe is how I make money. I have a safe down in what he calls “The Vault”.
Joe: I told you that museum of a house of yours would come in handy. I’m telling you, we should move everything here.
Fil: Joe, the safest place is not always the most secure.
Joe: Ok. Suit yourself. Meet me in my workshop while I put this and some other things down in the Vault.
Fil: Ok.
I walk out into the hall and head up the stairs to the second floor. The second floor is not like the first floor with it’s many different rooms. It has 3 rooms. The first of which is the meeting room. And the second is the room I’m going to, Joe’s Workshop. The last one is invention storage, formerly a broom closet. I walk into the workshop and see the familiar sight of different cords, boxes and unidentifiable miscellaneous inventions strewn about an assortment of tables. I walk along a row of tables and see some strange items. The most notable of which are: a mechanical mass powered by what appears to a glowing purple rock, a tiny hammer just bigger than my thumb, a metallic hilt of some kind with strange buttons on one side and an oversized a thumb tack with a glowing red light on the top. I now find myself at Joe’s main table. It isn’t as messy as the others and is situated somewhat in the middle of the room. On it is an assortment of books, blueprints and a metal frame in the shape of an upper body with 2 large spools at the back, very similar to the shape of old film spools.
Joe: Ah, I see you’ve found my latest creation.
Fil: What is it?
Joe: It’s not obvious? It’s a long-range grapple.
Fil: Umm...
Joe: It was originally supposed to just be a gun but I couldn’t figure out how to fit enough steel rope without it being too heavy. So I made a full-body frame that’s made to go over or under armor with tracks going to both wrists. I still can’t figure out how to get a good launching system.

I now (several hours later), find myself walking down the (as always) empty street. I think better of it and take a fire escape to the roof of an abandoned apartment building and I start jumping building to building. After several minutes, I make it to a block close to my house. I stop to take a breather and look down at the street. I suddenly hear a metallic sounding voice behind me.
???: Hello There.
I turn around and see figure dressed fully in multiple different black cloaks and a black mask with a shiny front. I can barely see him in the dim light.
Fil: Who are you?
???: It isn’t time for you to know my real name yet. So for now you can call me... Titanium.
Fil: And why are you here?
Titanium: To train you!
He suddenly throws a knife at me. I dodge it and see it thwack into the AC unit that was behind me seconds before.
Fil: You thought I wouldn’t dodge that?
Titanium: On the contrary. I’m just getting started.
He pulls out a katana from his back from under his cloaks and rushes at me. I pull out my knife, dodge his attack and slash his arm. It makes a metallic scraping sound. He slashes at me again, this time much quicker. I wasn’t able to dodge it this time and his katana catches me and knocks me to the ground. I look at myself expecting to see blood. I then realize that he had hit me with the blunt side of his katana.
Fil: You didn’t mean to kill me?..
Titanium: As I said, I’m here to train you.
I rush at him He tries to slash me but I slide under his blade and knock it out of his hand. I turn back to him to see that he is facing me. I slip my knife under his armor plating and press it to his ribs.
Fil: You think your here to train me now?
I suddenly feel a sharp pain in my back.
Titanium: You have a lot to learn...
Then, everything goes black.

It may (or may not) be surprising to some of you that I posted a second issue so soon after the first issue. This is because this rest of this week I am planning to post 1 Issue per day (other than the weekend which I’m not sure about). I missed yesterday but I did make up for it (I’ll probably be doing Vol. 1 Issues closer together than I will for future Volumes). As I said, this Issue is a combination of 2 issues. After writing it I realized I could call this 2 issues but I decided to post them together since they felt a bit short to be one.

Oh, and I almost forgot a few other things:
1. Titanium’s voice was really hard for me to describe, so I’ll just say that I imagine his voice sounding similar to Prometheus’ voice from Arrow.
2. Sorry that you can’t really see Titanium’s katana in the picture, I didn’t notice until after.
3. How is it that “Question for Titanium Steel Readers” got more faves than Titanium Steel Issue 1? Is it just because the questions picture is awesome?
4. After Vol. 1, I will be posting a figbar of all the characters.
