I think all we're going to get from tropical storm Isaac is some sprinkles and a couple nice sunsets.
Maybe finally some waterfalls to shoot come Saturday?
It's that time of year again! One of my favourite things about the holiday season is getting to see all the vibrant and colourful displays of lights and decorations as people share their festive spirit.
Aquí els arbres fent una reverència, tal com ho feien els The Jesus and Mary Chain. Feta durant la 4rta Trobada de CATALUNYAHDR a Santa Pau, la Garrotxa
Here the trees reverencing, same as The Jesus and Mary Chain did.

It started with an orange and yellow tulip with water droplets. I redrew it with "chalk" to get a soft look, adjusting the color and saturation and contrast. I finished it off with some texture to give it a sheen.
Found this sunflower stored away on a CD and thought I'd dress it up abit. So many flower shots stored away. It's nice to take them out and see them again.
Pine Siskin. Getting a drink from the snow. These birds forage in trees, shrubs and weeds. They mainly eat seeds, plant parts and some insects. In winter, they often feed in mixed flocks including American Goldfinches and redpolls. IMG_9817
At first I was alarmed thinking this gorgeous butterfly was hung and I headed over to rescue him. Only to see him immediately, and casually, take off and return again and again, over and over.
A game? Something sweet on the Passion Vine tendril? Something wet? No, it is laying eggs! If you look closely you can see a couple of eggs that the white ovipositor has just placed. Lovely white details on the underside of this beauty!

Taken at Cincinnati Zoo this weekend. The blooms are out several weeks early, and so are a bit ahead of the official Zoo Blooms event. So if you are inCincinnati, hurry down, before its too late. This weekend should still be peak.

Twas the Night Before Christmas
The scene looks like my Wonderland week scene. I condensed down the pieces to create a smaller scene with my HO figures. I added the decorations using some images I bought last week from Creative Market. I bought a bundle of all kinds of images - top views and side views. So, the stars, and wreath, and presents were part of the Scene Creator Christmas folder. You get jpg and psd files. You can change the colors, sizes, and other attributes.
I added a background texture, a snow texture, some text, and frames.
Happy Christmas and Chanukkah and a Happy 2017.
