October 15, 2012. Nakwon Shopping Arcade, Seoul, South Korea.
A collection of some very cute mini instruments that I really wanted to buy but no one seemed to be running this particular booth on this particular day, so, oh well.
A tiny diorama built as an entry for this year's modelling competition at my local model railway club.
I haven't had as much time to work on my intended entry, so didn't think I would get it completed before December, so I threw this together just so that I could enter something. Hopefully I'll get back to my orignal idea soon.
The diorama was to measure no more than 40 square inches, so I decided to make this essentially joke entry 400 square millimeters which is about the smallest I could go using OO components.
The completed scene consists of a telegraph pole with a bicycle leaning against it and a poster advertising the model railway club's Open Day show.

The tiny house in Andover, Maine is a fun place to stay, if you have a reason to be in the area. Although it is quite remote, it is close to the Richardson Lakes & Sunday River skiing. It's also close to my sister! I visited for the first time in July, 2018.
Found this tiny spider by a small pool of water on a Granite Rock if he hadn't moved there would have been no chance of seeing him. Not the best shot but I am always trying to keep up with people who aren't camera crazy.

Aren't they cute!! The magic mushroom and the Ladybug I bought in Prague, the lucky cat was a gift from my friend Mike. The Mushroom is about 1/2 inch tall. I don't remember where I got the pump.
Edited version of a scanned print. I wish I had more light here... It should be noted that the dollar store camera has no flash. And no zoom. But I kinda like how she's small in the frame.

The Dollar Store Camera Experiment
I kept seeing these cameras at the dollar store near my house. They come in different colors...blue, black, red. I couldn't resist the delicious cherry red one. And I couldn't help but wonder what kind of pictures it would produce. So, I bought one - it was a dollar, how could I not?
In the burnt forest I found this brightly-coloured fungi covering small areas of the ground. Each one is only a few millimetres across.
There is some green moss evident here also.
This spider can't be much larger than one mm across. I saw it climbing down from a plant. The thread is so small I couldn't see it but as you can see it is hanging upside down from it.

Tiny. Short for Valentine. Grew into a great hedge of a thing, with proportionately massive paws, and absurdly hairy ears.
Sadly, he lost a fight with a fox in the early morning of 26 July 2011. He was one of the finest domestic animals I've ever known, and he'll be hugely missed in this house.
