I found this tiny moth just a few meters away from my home in Nagoya. There is an empty lot where everything is allowed to grow during spring and summer, providing not only a nice patch of green to the neighbourhood but also a habitat for fellows like the tiny moth. I shot this one with my new Olympus E-PL1 in combination with the heavy Zuiko 12-60mm – a rare combination, yet capable of great image quality. The small aperture of 4.5 made it possible to shoot this one without a tripod and makes it a kind of portrait rather than a classical insect macro shot. From my website at www.focx.de

tiny flowers

Lots of these in a variety of colours are everywhere in my garden.

These tiny mushrooms had dime size caps. I had to catch them early as they shriveled quickly when the sunlight reached my garden. Their caps had already started to fold up and shrivel by the time I got my camera.

"Tiny" Often you don't need anything more than a normal lens to do close up work with nice bokeh. The largest flower in this image was about 1/2 in. in diameter. It was taken with a Nikkor 28-300mm, 3.5-5.6, variable aperture lens. The capture aperture was f/6.3. And it was hand held. (I will be posting 2 more variations of this image with 2 different textures added.)

I went to The Home Depot yesterday, looking to buy some plants to put outside my new apt. And, of course you know, I love hibiscuses.

But... look at how tiny this one was! The phone is for scale.

TINY MINI PURSE GIFT BOXES

I am selling off my cosmetic packaging.

These delightful little gift or wedding favour boxes, come in strong flexible poly pro and in amazingly bright and intense colours.

If you make your own lip balms or solid perfumes, you can fit one of each into the box. They hold a small soap and sample bodywash too. About 3" x 2" x 1.5" deep.

These tiny purses hold a couple of lip balms, crayons, trinkets, or use them as gift packages for a delightful alternative to wrap.
