Taken in Amer Fort, Rajasthan, India.

One of the ways that you can actually get to Amer fort is on Elephant back. Here is the kicker though. They will take you up but they do not accept any fares to go down.

____________

Amber Fort (Hindi: आमेर क़िला, also known as Amer Fort) is located in Amer, 11 km from Jaipur, Rajasthan state, India. It was the ancient citadel of the ruling Kachhawa clan of Amber, before the capital was shifted to present day Jaipur. Amber Fort is known for its unique artistic style, blending both Hindu and Muslim (Mughal) elements, and its ornate and breathtaking artistic mastery. The fort borders the Maota Lake, and is a major tourist attraction in Rajasthan.

I confess I bought this one simply because it was so tiny and cute. Yixing Zisha clay, holding all of about 28mL before it starts to spill over.

Tiny pig and Tiny mouse, 3/4 of an inch high.

These tiny pink flowers look just like any other ordinary things around us that grow by itself naturally when I find them on the wet soil; But only after I start circling them I notice that they form a "?" shape from this particular spot. I find it interesting. Applying it as a parable to decision making: we have to see from many angles / perspectives prior to settle in one.

Shooting a chipped Zeiss ZF 25mm f/2.8 at it's minimum focusing distance in natural light. The field curvature character of this lens is actually a blessing for such application.

tiny cranes

I started making these tiny cranes in my 7th grade study hall. Never ones with cheerful colors, but tiny nonetheless.

It took my brother and me a good 4+ hours to finally reach the top of the Black Tusk. The last section to get on top of it required climbing up an almost vertical chimney. It was a real blast hiking around in Garibaldi.

Sigh. I miss the old one. But look at the nice tile! Don't look at the candle. Don't wonder why it's there.

I accidentally broke both of Tiny Buddha's hands off recently when I was trying to swat a fly. The fly got away and I immediately glued the hands back on so Buddha's fine. Really! See?
