tiny cranes
I started making these tiny cranes in my 7th grade study hall. Never ones with cheerful colors, but tiny nonetheless.
Kitchen mat made from tiny squares from my scrap bin to replace my Christmas mat from Target. The machine quilting is awful- yet another reason why I handquilt everything!

Perfect for decoration in kids room, or guests room, you can place them by your plants, on your nightstand, sitting near you picture frames or simply place them on shelves. If you choose to have another place for them I’d love to hear about it!!

I went to Sunrise Lake tonight looking for dragonflies and there were lots and lots of them, but they didn't land anywhere that I saw. But there were lots and lots of these adorable little people too and I coaxed one onto my thumbnail long enough to get it's portrait. I'm guessing cricket, I don't think it's a katydid, maybe a grasshopper. Anyone?
Found in Northern New Jersey.
