This tiny green frog balanced on the edge of a palm frond at The Sweetbay Natural Area in northern Palm Beach County, Florida.
First let me say that I am not a complainer. But now having said that, after waiting 7 months for tiny Chocola Fairy Haru I was very disappointed. Not in the doll itself, in the lack of faceup. I took a long time deciding which one of these three color choices I should order, and in the end it came down to which faceup I like the best. I chose the normal skin white mint. I like the yellow tones to the very fair skin, no issue there. The faceup other than the eyes and brows was very pale, almost no lips, no definition to her nose, it was invisible, the tattoo under her eye is so small you really cannot see it. I took pictures (you can see them in my photostream) and packed her up to sell. As you can see I changed my mind. I added color to her faceup, I beveled the inside of her sockets a bit, the eyes sit well now, and I elfed her ears. I would have never touched them had she been perfect to me. I am glad I did not sell her. But I still feel sad that after that very long wait Lati should have given me the faceup that I paid so much money for. If I wanted to do a faceup on her, I would have ordered a blank. Sorry for the rant, I will get off my soapbox now.
Nachdem die ersten Pläne fertig sind geht's an die Konstruktion der Seitenteile. Zwischendurch wird eines der beiden gebrauchten Fenster saniert. Es ist unglaublich heiß und Mensch und Tier sind froh um jedes bisschen Schatten.

Amaya said it was too cold to go out this morning for a photo with the tiny snowman in the snow that has not melted yet. This is a very tiny styrofoam snowman she is now adopting. I have had it as a small Christmas decoration.
I live in what is quite possibly the smallest apartment in Los Angeles, but I love my neighborhood and the rent is good, so I like it here and I'm staying. This week, in an effort to make my ridiculously tiny kitchen more functional, I underwent a bit of a reorganization project.
I got a big metro shelf from Target but rather than arranging the shelves evenly, I am using one of them as a bit of a countertop space where I can do work or extra cooking space, etc. There's even enough room underneath for a stool so you can actually sit and use the space.
To make it even more functional, I got a sheet of MDF cut down to fit that shelf and then I cut some small notches into it so that it won't slide around. I did something special with it, too, but I'll take pics when it's dry.
Also finally framed a lot of art I've been meaning to get up. I have too much, but wanted some of these pieces shown for sure, so I made it happen. Now what to do with the rest?!

Was surprised while out in this remote area, no one else around, to see some guy come walking out of the woods. He seemed out of place, not sure what he was doing there. I got the feeling he was up to something! : )
