On Tuesday we went to LEGOland Windsor! Sadly it was pouring rain the whole time and we only got to go on one ride. :( But on the bright side I bought LEGO Minecraft micro-world, and two old unglued lego magnet sets! This pic was taken at the Star Wars store in LEGOland.

I can't believe that spring has finally decided to arrive to Finland! :D I'm enjoying the first flowers in our yard.
Tiny Gathering. In honour of the NRM’s ‘Great Gathering’ I’m uploading this is a smaller collection which occurred at Aberdeen’s Ferryhill shed (61B) in August 1966.
Gresley 'A4’s' 4-6-2 no.’s 60009 "Union of South Africa" and 60019 "Bittern" receiving some attention. Remarkable, (or not so given this was last place for A4’s) both locomotives were saved for preservation.
Looking back I don’t think I realised just what I was seeing. If I had I might have taken more pictures. But then I only had 36 per roll of film, and limited resources, not like today’s digital era with over a 100 per card!
I started a tiny bicycle collection a few years ago. This one was given to me by Frank's mom last year. I'll make sure to take photos once I have them all out & set up in the new place.

This was taken absolutely ages ago, and in all honest I have grown to love it. This is perhaps my third favorite "swan photo", bested by the two uploaded prior to this. Alot of work has gone into this, the PP took me about an hour due to several very highlighted items that needed burning out. This was going to be submitted to the Jessops INTL Photographer Of The Year black&white stage, but I never got round to it.
Shooting details:
-f/5.6
-1/500sec
-ISO800
PP Details:
-Shot into JPEG, put into black and white, whole range of settings fiddled with, mainly contrast and brightness, then, alot of burning applied.
all 1"scraps put together with white cotton material. The hourglass blocks are of a white homeweave linnen, the almost black is a very fine woven and soft wool cloth - not the best choice to combine those two.
I made this tiny owl out of Super Sculpey, which is a delight to use. The owl is seriously tiny: he is about as tall as a lady-sized thumbnail (not long lady nails, though).
My wife and I just discovered the Tiny Glade game on Steam and we're both addicted now. Has anyone else discovered this game? I feel like it's Lego-adjacent in the way you can doodle a scene and move the buildings around, change the lighting etc.
so so tiny could hardly see anything but a fast moving red dot. thankfully it stopped to get a drink on this grape leaf lake.
rainy day dream away... just before the windshield wipers cleared away the raindrops, i noticed tiny reflections outside the glass. In a "snap" a shot was composed and this photo was born. Shot on Clinton Park near Valencia st, in san francisco's Mission district on a rainy day in early spring.

Tiny is the smallest of the three brothers born at Woburn Safari Park, where his father still reigns, hand reared by staff as his elderly mother was unable to suckle. Tiny and his brothers could not remain in a pride of lions which already had resident male lions, hence residing together at Wildlife Heritage Park.
He weighs in at 180Kg (396 lbs approx); this demands a large meal of meat and bone weighing 15 Kg (30 lbs) 3 times a week.
Tiny is always the brother missing at feed time, refusing to join his brothers in the house so their meat can be placed in the outside enclosure. A lovable character with his antics, always near to trouble but never seemingly involved — he is a true king of the jungle even if his crown is at an odd angle!
The Wildlife Heritage Foundation is a UK based charity working hard to ensure that the big cat species of the world are protected from extinction. Based in Kent UK they are an active partner in the European Endangered Species Breeding Programmes (EEP), as well as setting up education programmes for the people who share the habitats of these wonderful cats, the WHF is also raising awareness and funding for big cat projects around the world.
A forced tilt-shift DOF of a picture I took in San Francisco from the top floor of the Mark Hopkins Hotel. It features the Flood Mansion. I placed the building in a separate layer to get the blur effect.
A really quick pattern! Great for those with little time or short attention spans (like me! hehe!). Also good for using up scrap yarn since you only need a tiny bit of each color. Available at www.gleefulthings.com
