Got to the rv park in time to set up and still be able to pick some oranges for a night cap! The RV park we spent the night at is in the middle of an orange grove and they let you pick some oranges for free.
This is my favorite photo of the whole day. Not that it's anything great, but the moment's one we'll never forget.
We were singing Happy Birthday to Timothy and Grant (the little one on the left) wasn't even in the room. He came running out of no where right at the perfect moment and blew out the candle as Timothy started to blow it out.
It was sooooo funny. The look on Timothy's face was priceless. Of course I didn't catch that, though. :D
Timing was perfect - we passed through Duka Bovu on a Wednesday, as the last day of our Safari. This meant there was a Masai market going on. We stopped and checked it out.
It was like a surreal blend of various country markets, flea markets and the farmers' markets I've seen in Peru and Ecuador.

Unfortunately, my timing was just a little off to catch the big cloud-to-ground lightning bolt that struck in the distance behind the crossing signal moments after this photo was snapped, and my video camera wasn't framed wide enough to catch it. I would redeem myself shortly, though.
As the rays of light visibly fall on to the Andes Mountains in Ollantaytambo, Peru, the town soaks in the warmth of the summer sun and prepares for a cool evening ahead. Summer 2010
