Timing

The various bits and pieces of my car are slowly arriving in the shop, so this will be close to the last time that I'll be seeing the engine of my car broken down like this. Actually, it will be the last time I see the engine period, as in the years I've owned it, I've never really seen it, as it sits nestled amidst a bunch of body work and panels.

I captured this shot accidentally as I was trying to focus in the dark to take a picture of him playing in the sand. I just happened to shoot at the same time he threw sand in my face, which I didn't realise until after the shot, when it hit me (literally)! No pain no gain...
