Tilt shift shots produced by holding a M42 lens focused to infinity loosely in front of an eos350d, then tilting until the desired object is in focus. Thanks to Tommy Oshima for the tip! :) the results are a bit hit and miss but looks pretty cool when you get it right!
Note that the foreground poster and the background building are both in focus. Trying out a rented 24mm TS-E on a borrowed 10D.
Tilt-shift miniature fakes. Created in Photoshop CS using this Photoshop tutorial. Corresponding weblog entry: Tilt-Shift Miniaturen in Photoshop
This fake was cropped from a much larger image to create a more limited range of subject interest. Its not great and I attribute that to the large variation of 'model' postures making the scene unlikely. I have some other images shot from here (Colosseum) that I'll play with.
Tilt-Shift shooting for an advertising campaign for the “Deutsche Telekom.” The idea was that big changes starts small. So I used a Tilt-Shift lens to create a miniature looking panorama shoots.
I managed to find the "Edge Preserving Smooth" option. I think that's what helps make the surfaces look flat, and as a result, more like a model. I used it, then ran another Sharpen over it.
I think I'm getting there. I just need a better picture to work with. I'll probably experiment with some Creative Commons ones once I get home.
If you have any suggestions / critique, feel free to post. I'm experimenting and trying to get the hang of this interesting technique.

Shots were hand held, Nikon D40 with 18-105mm and Circ Polarizer, tho not the best angle to the sun.
