Tilt shift shots produced by holding a M42 lens focused to infinity loosely in front of an eos350d, then tilting until the desired object is in focus. Thanks to Tommy Oshima for the tip! :) the results are a bit hit and miss but looks pretty cool when you get it right!
Having always had a fascination with tilt shift / perspective lenses it was with great joy I found that I could replicate the effect through photoshop, this is one of the first results of my playing
Ok, so this is my first attempt at a tilt-shift miniature. It doesn't work too well, there isn't enough depth in the picture, but even so, my brain is telling me its a miniature, whilst telling me "You took that bloody photo!"

Neotar-N 75mm F/3.5 medium format enlarger lens.Black plastic from photographic paper lining bag.M42 10mm extension ring and jubilee clps. Nightmare to meter and internal reflections means can only be used with the sun behing you. Work in progress!!
This fake was cropped from a much larger image to create a more limited range of subject interest. Its not great and I attribute that to the large variation of 'model' postures making the scene unlikely. I have some other images shot from here (Colosseum) that I'll play with.
