I bought some magnetic clips for the whiteboard in my classroom...and then was quite depressed when I saw a colleagues bright, peg clips.
Tonight, it struck me that I could do something about that!!

i crocheted these shawls out of quilting thread a couple of years ago and then never got around to blocking them or listing them till a customer asked about them recently, so i pulled them out to take pictures. i'd forgotten just how many i made! :lol: i'll be blocking them all this weekend and then listing them on etsy soon. if you are interested in any before that my email addy is in my profile.

Cuando vi por primera vez esta carpeta, produjo sobre mí un efecto inesperado: consiguió hacerme olvidar que estaba frente a una obra compartida, frente a la suma de dos voluntades artísticas pactando un acuerdo, un entendimiento creativo. Me encontré frente a una gran unidad conceptual, ante la permanente presencia, grabado a grabado, de un solo gesto, un gesto único que transcurría frente a mis ojos en un ejercicio de armonía plástica que resultaba una experiencia sensible de gran calado. Las tres fotos de Prats, los tres dibujos/pinturas de Ruibal me hablan en un mismo lenguaje, llegan a los mismos puntos de mi percepción emocional, son, entre si, referentes, y parecen citarse formando una trama que no llego a explicarme del todo pero que produce un notable goce estético. Invito con entusiasmo a recorrer esta carpeta, a detenerse en cada uno de sus grabados, en sus matices, su poética por momentos desengañada, por momentos ascética, pero siempre gobernada por una armonía de formas y contenido que, en lo personal, me ha deslumbrado. La íntima felicidad que produce el arte adquiere, así sea por momentos, la forma de una carpeta de dos artistas cuyos códigos creativos se descifran aquí.
Carpeta de confección artesanal que contiene 6 grabados originales, numerados, firmados de puño y letra por los autores y de edición limitada, tamaño 29×42 cm, impresos en papel Somerset enhanced Velvet de 255 gramos, 100% algodón.
De esta carpeta sólo se han hecho 40 ejemplares y III Pruebas de Artista. Los pasos intermedios de realización de los grabados fueron destruidos una vez hecho el mencionado tiraje, de modo que no se harán nuevas ediciones.

When I first saw this folder, it had an unexpected effect on me: it made me forget that I was looking at a shared work, to the sum of two artistic minds agreeing a deal, a creative understanding. I found myself facing a conceptual unit with the permanent presence, engraving after engraving, of a single gesture, one gesture that developed before my eyes in an exercise of plastic harmony resulting in a deeply sensitive experience. The three photos by Prats, the three drawings / paintings by Ruibal speak the same language, reach the same points of my emotional perception, are a reference to each other, and appear to quote each other forming a pattern that I cannot entirely explain myself but that yields a significant aesthetic enjoyment. I enthusiastically invite to look through this folder, to stop at each print, at its nuances, at its sometimes disappointed, sometimes acetic poetry, always governed by a harmony of form and content, which personally has dazzled me. The inner happiness brought by art takes, if only for moments, the shape of a folder by two artists whose creative codes are deciphered here.
Handcrafted folder containing 6 original prints, numbered, hand signed by the author, limited edition, size 29 × 42 cm, printed in 255 gram Somerset Enhanced Velvet paper, acid-free, 100% cotton.
Only 40 copies and III Artist Tests of this folder have been made. The intermediate steps were destroyed after printing, therefore there will not be any new editions.
