I inserted one plastic page from the DMC thread bow system in the binder. This holds all the skeins for my current project.

The reception for Christen Parker’s MFA Thesis Exhibition “Connecting Thread” will be held on Thursday, April 18th in Gallery 130 at Meek Hall.
The exhibition is open for viewing Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm. The campus will be closed on April 19th for Good Friday.

These dragonflies are so hard to photograph. First off, they don't stay in one place for long and then when you consider how small and delicate they are, it is not easy. So this was the first time I've been successful at capturing them and I'm not totally pleased with this shot. I was focused on the big guy down below, so the upper one is a bit blurry.

By the threading process every single hair is pulled out of the roots one at a time using a thread. This process is used for removal of short rows of hairs
I stumbled into this amazing store called "Tinsel Trading Company" where they had the most amazing fabrics and trim. These are 100 year old threads in gold and silver. So beautiful.
Their website is tinseltrading.com and it says it's Martha Stewart's favorite store. In the world. I believe it.
This piece of thread on my carpet literally fell by itself into the exact shape of an ampersand. I did not move it at all! LOVE.
