She run in the veins of the fallen leaves losing herself between the yellow and red ones grazing the cold breeze with her fingers full of rings and bags .
She slackens but her eyes are already arrived .
In the station she can feel the smell of old memories crammed into small cases and the rustle of lifes crossing their condensed breath . Emma climbs slowly few damp steps and glances the platforms .
She sits crossing her boots and dreams.
She think of the destiny of the boy hanged in the corner with an undone beard and a lined face from the umpteenth last night of bored happiness ... of a mother near the arcade , unable to choose a gift for his never born child ... of an old man crushed on a bench in front of her counting the ladders of his suit .
“ Are you never afraid of not really being there ? “ a man stares her and sketchs on the glass words that melt fast away ; Emma look at him and answers with a ghost of a smile .
“ It’s possible to look through you , there are other windows inside you “ and more words slide away and wet her face . Emma blows silent words in the air and lowers her eyes .
She would follow and tell him a chapter of her life for every station , she would show him all the faces she has known between the first platform and the exit and to list him every speech and every silence she has listened .
She looks away but the window is already faraway .
Emma checks her hat , seizes the bags and starts to walk again along the platform .
Peoples that walk through Emma leave in her some of their essence : a melancholy , a memory , a thread of smiles . Emma picks up and put down them in the bags , still dubious if leaving or staying, as ever .

This is the detail of a decoration adorning the inside of one of Hoi An's Chinese assembly halls.
These incredible buildings are an absolute visual feast.

In the 1980's my mom used to give tea parties in her garden room to some of her luckiest students. It was an adorable activity as part of a school fundraiser. My grandmother loved the idea and purchased these aprons for the event at an antique store.
Took this one at the Budha Subba Temple Dharan..People tie all sorts of colorful threads..They say it makes their wish come true..

This is an iron casting in which several badly corroded threaded studs had snapped off. The embedded remains of the studs have been removed and the original threads are seen being re-cut and cleaned up prior to the casting (part of a 1930s street light), being sand-blasted. New studs are being manufactured, so that the restoration of this relic can be completed

Followed these guys (Threads), around with my camera all day. Was meant to be helping them out by doing some filming but photos did a happen. Granted I did some filming but I was more interested in getting some shots. First ever photos i've done like this, i'd say I did ok considering!
It's a featherless Sunday again.
A beautiful non-stinging wasp, this Thread-waisted Wasp is about a half-inch long and flies about any flower it can feed on and even inspects the dead flowers. I'm not sure if this wasp feeds on other smaller insects.

This shot from a shop. Once they said they don't like to camera inside the shop. After one month, I went there as a new guy and took good shots. I was in a hurry and 50% unfocused. Anyway I like a lot of stuff there.
I was unpacking my sewing stuffs and was inspired by Julie to snap a photo of my threads, although not nearly as exciting as the House of Pinku collection! I keep Blue/Purple/Green in the first, Red/Orange/Yellow in the second and White/Black/Brown in the third.
Fiber art quilt with black fabric border (not shown). Wall hanging made from fabric, yarn, threads, quilted and embroidered
Here's a shot of the cam chain finally threaded under the main drive gear within the lower end. It took threading two guitar strings through the ends of each side of the cam chain, then creating a loop on on end, bending it around, then feeding it deep underneath and grabbing it on the other end with a hooked tool.
Of course, the cam chain roller (in between the two pistons). Removed by two 10mm bolts.
This entire process was very tricky in the sense that it took four synchronized hands all working together in unison to handle start to finish.
We're beginning to print a new and larger object: a model of a wood screw. This is one of the early layers, where just the edges of the threads are visible.
