This thread is in what I was originally calling a craft room. Then I thought it seemed more appropriate to call it a sewing room. Maybe it's a creation room?

We have a music room downstairs. These spaces are neck and neck for my favorite.

Yeah, I know. It's usually "needle and thread," but this blanket has been spending a lot of time with the needle & thread lately. It's something of a security blanket my son has had since he was little. When he gets upset lately, he pulls at it, and has ripped the tags off several times. This might not be a problem, except that he's particularly fond of the tags, and so comes to me in tears asking me to fix it.

So...blanket and thread.

My mother made me one of these about 40 years ago as a Christmas gift. I would still have it if not for the 1979 tornado in Wichita Falls, TX that decided someone in Kansas could use it more than me...grin So I made this one yesterday....

Red pineapple coat. I designed the pattern using graph paper sideways creating the diamond shape.

This is for a class assignment on contrast.

First attempt for Trev. They fit well, although I might want to lengthen the leg next time.

Repurposed some elastic from a long-gone pair.

Simplicity Val*U*Sew Model 2507. Thread got wrapped around wire bit and I had to undo thread tension and get rid of wire. Now I no longer remember which order the parts reassemble. Please just number re-arrange parts as given with a (*) for the missing wire piece.
