My Girl seems to be deep in thought here

Brother getting married tomorrow, sister adopted a baby yesterday (9 days and counting for the bio Mom to change her mind), my family in from Australia, and this girl is shooting the wedding. I'm so happy happy for everyone in my kinship circle I could cry. Wish us luck and keep your fingers crossed.

Carl had just finished telling me how the shop he and a friend were running fell through. Long story short, his girl ran off with the other guy. Shop went shortly after. I could tell that a year later that wound was still healing.

This word sparked the thought of grade school kids on field trips: Everyone has a buddy, and entire classrooms were linked hand-to-hand, as they weaved down a street or through a museum. Years ago, The Mother Kitty and her kittens took in some culture one afternoon, just like us humans do. She's cool like that.
