This one is of one of my colleagues at a recent dinner party. There were several people at the table at that time and they were just about to start dinner when she went into a deep thought right then just for a moment. I love capturing natural expressions :)
I thought I'd play with DOF, trying to work out Bokeh. Don't know if this counts! In addition to my camera, I used my new flash gun, hand held about a foot away and diffused, just to see if it would help!
When all is said and done, you are part of me. That's the way it was meant to be. People are brought together for a reason, everything happens for a reason. I believe the reason that you and me were brought together was because we complete one another. We fill in each other's missing spots with love. And if someday God decides to tear us apart, I trust that there is a reason. Cause if there is a reason for love, there is a reason for life beyond it

Just thought this was a cool view before I climbed the stairs to cross the tracks. I was hoping for a shot of a train coming at us but it never happened.
The last year has seen the awakening of the youth, a striking 65% majority of our country, leading to strife within the civil society reflecting a clash of generation.
Majority of these situations were addressed by the authorities by turning the other way, hoping that issues would die down while others have resulted in incraceration through arbitrary use of laws that were devised during the British Raj.
Many of these events have led to a sense of trepidation amongst the youth and their parents, especially in Urban India. Rural India has its own issues like the 'khaps' of the world
The youth seeks freedom as enshrined in the constitution and the authorities only answer is to devise various ways to clampdown/monitor them on the basis of vague archaic laws that do not address the changing aspirations of generation, that we believe will make us a global power. Filtering their thoughts, speech and actions will definitely not allow us to realize the potential for greatness that our country has.
Nowhere in the world is democracy being played out as it is in India, as it moved from being an underdeveloped to a developed nation. we have many things to thank the authorities for but many questions to ask!! And to keep questioning is important so as to safeguard the very rights that we have been born into.
In this bold new age of the Internet, what kind of a country would you like to wake up to in the future?? One thet monitors your every tweet, like and post or the one that inspires you!!!

I do a little writing every once in awhile; usually Script Writing, and I thought of all the crumbled up ideas thrown away because it wasn't a good idea at the time. Then I started thinking, any idea is really a good idea... just having an idea is a good idea. It's whether or not it's the RIGHT IDEA, at the RIGHT TIME that truly matters.
So to all you Premature Baby Ideas lying on the floor, know that I'll pick you up, nurture you, put some thought into you, and hopefully one day... you'll be a Great Idea in the Right Time.
