Where is Bruce's thoughts!? :P

She's Soraia, a very friendly and funny girl!

My son Ian at Utah's Hogle Zoo playground, just innocently zoning off.

I'm thankful that the snow and ice is melting outside, blogged.

Every thought, every word, book, movie, play, poem, haiku; every drawing, painting, visual creation; every success, failure, reinvention, self-discovery--started at this same point.

Food For Thought is a quirky little indie diner where you can get great comfort food at a fair price, have fascinating conversations, find new friends and discover simple ways to give back to the local and global community.

Found a new field nearby the house and thought I would take a stroll and check it out. Lovely location, wish I could use it for future shoots but you'll have to wait a bit longer to learn just why I wont be able too.

5 PM sun here. Should have waited another hour.

I thought it could be time for this kind of classic...

My light source is a flash on a stand to my left, pointing to the roof at maximum power, controlled remotely from the camera (you can see the little transmitter where the flash would otherwise be). It's kind of a first with that kind of equipment.

Also, experimenting with ImageMagick for cropping and sharpening...

due to how the hair sculptie prims are arranged, this happened

Thought this was a cool band picture. The DJ booth got crowded at times... might not happen next year.

the passenger across from me was also deep in thought

who could make me as happy as I have always seen in my dreams.

I first thought I'd found a pair mating but, when I got closer, realised that one individual was eating another, probably the unnoticed victim of someone's boot. The flesh-eating snail may actually be Oxychilus draparnaudi, which is predatory on other small molluscs. The other possibility is that it might be a Cellar Glass Snail (O. cellarius) but I think that one may have a flatter profile. Another thought (surely not) was that there was a bit of necrophilia going on. Molluscs, in general, though, are often very fond of eating the corpses of their fellows. The Garlic Glass Snail smells strongly of garlic but I forgot to get close enough to sniff.
