This one is of one of my colleagues at a recent dinner party. There were several people at the table at that time and they were just about to start dinner when she went into a deep thought right then just for a moment. I love capturing natural expressions :)
I thought I'd play with DOF, trying to work out Bokeh. Don't know if this counts! In addition to my camera, I used my new flash gun, hand held about a foot away and diffused, just to see if it would help!
So....I recently purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 5 and am finally sitting down to learn about it. I went out today and bought Scott Kelby's "Photoshope Elements 5 for Digital Photographers" and he has some great "recipes" for layers, correcting, etc. I am totally loving this book.
I feel like I am finally understanding how to use the program. My goal is to make the photo look like art - not like I "used Photoshop"...know what I mean? What's your honest opinion of this photo? Any suggestions on color, pattern, etc?
In the early morning the Egrets didn't seem to be to bothered by my presence. I parked my Prius about 15 feet from a couple of them and snapped away, before they decided to fly away.
When all is said and done, you are part of me. That's the way it was meant to be. People are brought together for a reason, everything happens for a reason. I believe the reason that you and me were brought together was because we complete one another. We fill in each other's missing spots with love. And if someday God decides to tear us apart, I trust that there is a reason. Cause if there is a reason for love, there is a reason for life beyond it
