Thought you'd get a kick out of the sisters Flickring in the desert. That's me on the left and Diana (alias RV Diana) on the right.
We hadn't seen each other for 11 months while I traveled the East and she stayed in the West.
We're parked on a bluff overlooking Martinez Lake about 20 miles north of Yuma, Arizona - the winter hot spot of the western U.S.

A recent image taken at a close family friend's wedding where I was asked to take the 'official pictures'.
This someting I thought long and hard about.
All the advice says "don't do it" - but I did with some extreme intrepidation and strong persuasion from our friends. You either sink or swim.
Well I'm still bobbing on the surface.
This has to be one of my favourite images from the whole day.
Knew it once I'd taken it.

In October 2016, the Quinlan School of Business hosted our 5th Annual Case Competition. 73 undergraduate Loyola students in 16 teams, and 18 judges, including alumni and business professionals, participated. Through the competition, our students demonstrate what they have learned in the classroom and apply it to a real-world business situation.
This year's case, "Google Car", asked the teams to look at Google's entrance into autonomous driving. Should Google continue to invest in the technology behind self-driving cars? How could Google's core software-based and search business benefit from self-driving car technology? As large auto manufacturers began to invest in automotive technology themselves, could Google compete? Was this investment of time and resources worth it for Google?

Our experiences form the boundaries of our thoughts, reinforced by our perspectives. In due time, we even forget that we are born free and get entangled in our own thoughts.

Pondering the Bahia de Pollença on Mallorca. This was a stitch of my first shots of the trip, taken from the Pine Walk in Port de Pollença. The bloke on the end of the jetty just looked deep in thought.
Not the best of shots but it looks better Large.
This piece has been in the garage and will go in the shed during the wedding for the charcutier display but after I thought it might be really cute here so why not try it now!!! I like it but not all the junk on it - I like the white goodies and the teal watercan so now to find other garden related goodies - hopefully in my shed or garage :D
Rabbit Creek flooded today. The thought is that an ice dam gave way upstream, maybe all the way back to Rabbit Lake.
Earlier the road/bridge was completely underwater with asphalt peeling back off the road. It was pretty deep, neighbors went up the road to check it out.
There's people who live on the creek who have lost some footage.
My sister had to have her 16 year old terrier down this week and I wanted to send her a sympathy card. I didn't have any sentiments specifically for pet loss, so I used this sentiment and border die from Parentville by Winnie&Walter. The papers are leftover scraps from a collection by TPC Studios and that cute little dog stamp is by Prima. I colored him with Spectrum Noir markers and added some bakers twine The stitched rectangle die is by Lawn Fawn.
Winnie & Walter Color Challenge for July: I used the colors in the inspiration photo for this card, along with stamps by W&W. www.blog.winniewalter.com/2017/08/august-color-combo-with...
