I knew there would be lots of flowers for this challenge. My options were limited this week so a quick capture of these pretties it was :)
[The moth project is still in progress. I've created this hairband for her. What do you think about it?]

I think my way of looking at things has been to look at a photo and need to have it make some sort of orderly sense. But with photography it seems to really come down to: does the photo fly or not,is there something there that works or perhaps no. whether it makes sense or not. Does it work?
I think they may be planning to take their cotton candy home and stash it under the bed for some sneak snacking :)

Part of a wall to a shop selling housepaint in Arvidsjaur, Sweden. The Swedish text on the sign means "Think Green!"

This is a quick wall we did together with Reb and Sterling a cloudy morning somewhere in Brixton..I really enjoyed adding some colour on this one after a long time doing monochrome pieces!

I almost walked straight past this wonderful female basilisk lizard that was sunning herself on an old torch lily head. I love how long her rear toes are and its easy to see from these how they can easily run across the surface of the water, giving them their nickname of 'Jesus Christ lizards'.
It's time to rest your mind, it's time to everyone think about what happened this year and what you will do to the next year.

You think you can destroy the planet? What intoxicating vanity. The Earth is ancient—four and a half billion years old. Life has persisted here for nearly as long, through cataclysms you can scarcely imagine: continents drifting, mountains rising and falling, comets slamming into oceans, entire species rising and vanishing in the blink of a geological eye. And yet, life endures. You fret over radiation, thinning ozone, or rising temperatures, but even if we poisoned every corner of this world, life would survive—deep underground, frozen in ice, waiting for its time to flourish again.
We see ourselves as gods, wielding the power to shape or destroy, yet we’ve been here for the briefest moment, blind to the Earth’s slow, relentless rhythms. A hundred years? A million? It means nothing to the planet. You say the Earth is in jeopardy? No—it is humanity that’s in jeopardy. The Earth does not need us, and it will not miss us if we’re gone. Our challenge is not to save the Earth—it is to save ourselves.

This animal never stands still. He doesn't understand what posing means. However, once a week, or once every two weeks (it's absolutely random), he freezes like giving me three seconds of glory. Here, he seems to say, you'd better be ready. Of course, I'm not watching him for a week or two: my visits are also absolutely random.
Perhaps one day the two cycles coincide, you will say. But then the magic will be lost, I'll probably go somewhere else. And this animal will think, with good reason, that it is impossible to understand humans. They never stand still. They do not understand what posing means.
Thanks everyone so much for your lovely comments and faves it is very much appreciated :)))

4th Sunday of Lent
Lord Jesus, think on me
And purge away my sin;
From earth-born passions set me free
And make me pure within.
Lord Jesus, think on me
With many a care opprest;
Let me Thy loving servant be
And taste Thy promised rest.
Lord Jesus, think on me
Amid the battle's strife;
In all my pain and misery
Be Thou my Health and Life.
Lord Jesus, think on me
Nor let me go astray;
Through darkness and perplexity
Point Thou the heavenly way.
Lord Jesus, think on me
When floods the tempest high;
When on doth rush the enemy,
O Savior, be Thou nigh!
Lord Jesus, think on me
That, when the flood is past,
I may the eternal brightness see
And share Thy joy at last.
Lord Jesus, think on me
That I may sing above
To Father, Spirit, and to Thee
The strains of praise and love.
"Lord Jesus, Think on Me"
by Synesius of Cyrene, c. 375-430

I think a 1968 model, Jaguar 420.

I found this scene cute. Please... the Porsche is not mine. The owners might think I'm pretending to own any of them.The Hummer was already there. My ride is a vintage Toyota Land Cruiser BJ40..
I think it is interesting how power gets put together on a big old railroad. Somehow, a pair of leasor units have been paired together for the Cedar River Local for the past 2 weeks out of Waterloo. It's pretty neat to see a couple of old ex-Soo Line SD60's paired back together again. Here, the girls sit at the roundhouse at Waterloo over the weekend. The Cedar River doesn't work over the weekend much, so the power will sit for a day or so unless needed on M338 for a kicker unit.
These Soo SD60's were in the 1st 21 units order (6000-6020), which were delivered between between August and October 1987. This bunch was returned leased, and some spent time on the INRD. Now, power short CN has them.
I think this is Tn 1690, the "Valdstejn", Liberec - Cheb, timed at 09.48 from Chomutov.
Sorry about the backlighting, but these locos, always in stunning condition from Chomutov Depot, looked great!

Don't think there was much chance of this trout getting away from this osprey.
A very tight crop as just about caught this at the edge of the photo.
I think it's an "Echo complex" Blue, also known as a Spring Blue, Spring Azure, Echo Blue, etc. It's on a redbud at Stebbins Cold Canyon Reserve, which FYI can be a bit of a butterfly hotspot in spring. Not yet, though, spring is a bit late this year and there were just a few butterflies at the base of the trail.
