For my Door Decorations set: Floor 5- Underpants!
I feel a bit self conscious about this pic, but I think I've got it edited/cropped so that its not too awkward anymore. ....maybe? I was gonna go the silly route with this dedication, but I've already done that. So instead I'm going a little more out of my comfort zone! Yay!
I tried doing a Pokemon picture a few days ago for the door dec's theme, but it didn't work out, So this pic gets to be my triumphant return to that theme. haha.
Because I wander the urban streets for hours every day, I often shoot pigeons, which are urban birds. This photograph has over the doves and behind them a rectangular layer of gray skies of winter. The skies occupy about two-thirds of the photo. Under the doves there's a roof that holds them, and underneath the wall there's a wall which consists of layers of rectangles. The doves themselves are organized like in a military parade on their own rectangular layer. All pigeons facing forward except one keeping an eye so that the group will not get an unpleasant surprise from behind. Weak sunlight illuminates the pigeons from the right from above and from behind, and casts weak shadows on the wall.

בגלל שאני משוטט ברחובות העיר במשך שעות מדי יום יוצא לי, לעתים קרובות, לצלם יונים, שהן ציפורים עירוניות. בצילום הזה יש מעל ליונים ומאחוריהן שכבה מלבנית של שמים אפורים של חורף. השמים תופסים כשני שליש מהצילום. מתחת ליונים יש גג שמחזיק אותן, ומתחתיו קיר. הקיר מורכב משכבות של מלבנים. היונים עצמן מסודרות כמו במסדר צבאי על שכבה מלבנית משלהן. כל היונים פונות קדימה מלבד אחת שמשגיחה שלא תהיה לקבוצה איזו הפתעה לא נעימה מאחור. שמש חלשה מאירה את היונים מימין מלמעלה ומאחור, ומטילה צללים חלשים על הקיר

Bretagne-themed - but still abstract - 2 player game. Strategy for winning not immediately obvious. After a single play we could not determine how much depth this game has. (5/10)

Lego Adventurers theme again. This time Johnny Thunder, Pippin Reed and Professor Kilroy start a new dangerous journey to discover secrets of ancient Egypt.
Unfortunately I did not find original Professor Kilroy head, so sorry for that small inaccuracy.
I plan to prepare a 3d short movie with a 360° view of this model, but I need to wait for colder days.

This month's theme took quite a lot of deliberation until I found a route I was happy with. I ended up looking at the various meanings attributed to the words for inspiration. I figured I would share the definitions I was working with to better explain this month's approach.
Cheap - "costing relatively little, inexpensive"
Aesthetic - "concerned with emotion and sensation as opposed to intellectuality"
So, I'm not going to go into too much depth - here are a selection of photos from my 'Memories' box.. Going back over the last 10-12 years. The actual worth of these pieces of paper is basically nil - but of course to me they are worth a lot.
I've had more than my fair share of bad times in my life but I try to leave them behind, and only take the good times along with me... Which works for the most part, though i think some things never quite leave you. So even though these pictures are mostly badly composed, exposed and shot (of course) that doesn't matter- they make me smile, and sometimes that's what I need them for.
On top is a recent SP - representing where I am now, and how things change. One day that will be a part of the memory box, and things will be different again.
The quilts in the pagoda were behind rails. I backed up as far as I could, against the rail on the opposite side, and ended up with the top half of this quilt. This one would be my second choice.
Update: I went back with a more appropriate lens. A slightly more recent photo, showing the whole quilt, is in my photostream.

聯合國教科文組織2014 年發布的報告顯示，印度是世界上文盲人口最多的國家，成年人文盲人口達2.87 億，佔全球文盲人口的37%。全世界72%的文盲人口集中在10 個國家，這些國家的文盲人口達5.57 億，其中印度居首位。生命影響生命發展協會(Jeeven se Jeeven Development Trust)是北印度ＵＰ省Kanpur正式註冊的ＮＧＯ非營利機構。 從2006年開始，招收貧民窟的孩子到教育中心，教這些孩子基本的讀寫能力，資助他們至正式學校就讀，幫助他們取得正式學歷，有助於他們未來就業機會，改善他們貧困的生活。
台中科大多媒體設計系與思恩堂美福教會，籌辦2015拯救印度貧民教育攝影計畫之旅，於寒假期間前往印度，發揮學生志工所長，協助拍攝當地貧民教育之宣傳短片與協助兒童教學。
本次展覽以「印記」為題，發表學生志工為生命影響生命發展協會製作的記錄影片，並以印度的事工、印度的貧窮、印度的兒童、印度的人、物、街景、四大主題，展現攝影鏡頭下志工所看到的印度記錄，冀望讓外界更瞭解其工作內容及現況，對資助該會的貧民教育營運有拋磚引玉之效，並能對提醒國內學子珍惜學習機會，有振聾發聵之意。
