……Converging lines for ’Smile on Saturdays’ theme this week of “One Point Perspective” - Railway tracks are well suited to the theme but without the tracks in place any more I thought a smattering of snow would focus the minds eye instead! This is one of the ways Camille tells us she is ready to come inside; she appears at one of several windows with a look like this. We think looking in the windows also contributed to her decision to bring her 4 kittens to our door; we caught "that tabby" staring into our house on at least 3 occasions before she came with family in tow.

Today's theme is Photos of flowers from my phone. I take photos of flowers in my garden using my phone and there they stay. For me this has been a hectic week and so I've turned to my phone for today's theme. So many lovely photos of flowers on my phone, I'd forgotten how nicely my garden grows.

Kaziranga is a vast expanse of tall elephant grass, marshland, and dense tropical moist broadleaf forests, criss-crossed by four major rivers, including the Brahmaputra, and the park includes numerous small bodies of water. Kaziranga has been the theme of several books, songs, and documentaries. The park celebrated its centennial in 2005 after its establishment in 1905 as a reserve forest. (Wikipedia)

One of the trails through the forests of Kaziranga. You never know what youll find around the bend - birds, wetlands or even rhinos and elephants. A most amazing place.

For 'MacroMondays' theme of 'Pink'
A very late reconsideration about this week's theme. Having passed this little flower on the usual morning walk it came to mind when looking at other submissions. It's a very unassuming little flower just less than 10mm across.
A bottle placed in the background provides some sort of balance to the picture.
Perhaps of interest to somebody, somewhere, is the use of the Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar f3.5 70mm projector lens. Made for a 16mm film projector its a very small light lens with no aperture blades so used at f3.5. Great fun attaching it to the camera!
On safari in Africa is one of the many garden themes at the Ralph Court Gardens in Bromyard, Herefordshire, UK.
Our electric meter is in a locked box outdoors. Here are its keys from the supplier - they do not keep the spiders out!
