A NYC classic the neon Pepsi sign, originally on top of Pepsi bottling plant in LIC, installed in the early 40s. Than moved a block down to the East River water front. Due to political BS (Zoning laws), and gentrification of my childhood city.

Taken near Time Square in the early evening......after a hard day of keeping the city safe for the Commissioner, Batman takes a much needed break.....:-))))

The picture is taken from inside the clock in front of the Grand Central façade facing 42nd Street. The clock contains the world's largest example of Tiffany glass and is surrounded by sculptures of Minerva, Hercules, and Mercury. The sculptures were designed by French sculptor Jules-Felix Coutan.

A little Italy on Mulberry St, trying to find a worth Sfogliatella... Still elusive, but one place; and it's not in Manhattan.
But fantastic new lighting paying tribute to a classic, and world famous Italian pop song from the late 50's Nel blu, dipinto di blu, simply known as Volare.
Finally, faintly in the distance through the trees is the spire mooring mast of the Empire State bldg

A glacial Erratic remnant of the last ice age, Central Park was never developed so the geological time pieces remain where they were left. interesting these rocks are not native to the area (hence name Erratic), but some 1000 miles away, quite mind-boggling.
A visitor from Northern Canada, decided to chill in Central Park.
In midst my busy month, I managed to squeeze a visit to the city that never sleeps. I gotta say its one of the most amazing places I have ever visited and can't wait to go back there.
Needless to say its a very photogenic city, so to start off this new set, here is an image which you will probably have seen a million times before, buts its grandeur and splendour will never cease to amaze.
