Bowling green station. One of the two still standing Station headhouse dates to 1904.
Bowling Green was a significant cultural site before Europeans arrived. Once was residence for the chief of the Leni Lenape Native tribe at the southern end of the Wickquasgeck trail, now called by its modern name Broadway. Hence why it's non straight course north through Manhattan.

The Dublin House opened as a speakeasy in 1919. The townhouse was once owned by Emily Post. Did the queen of etiquette know about the illicit imbibing?. The neon harp, a mere 89 years old, made its first appearance in 1933, at the end of Prohibition. The bar’s original owner, Dublin-born John Carway, was apparently ready to advertise.

Katz's Deli - A kosher-style delicatessen originally opened in 1903, than re-located to current location in 1911 due to construction of the Subway line. Katz's Deli, one of the last remaining taste of the past of days when Pastrami ruled NYC, Pizza may be king, but Kazt's ruled the late night eats scene, and still does.

A Soho establishment and one of the oldest and longest running cafe/Bar in NYC. Bldg erected in 1847 and on 1867 it became a saloon. in 1921 Michael Fanelli a local successful boxer who purchased it from his boxing winnings renamed it to what you see today, In 82 Fanelli sold it to it's current owners, hopefully the keep it as is.
