Approximately 24 million people will take a free ride over to Staten Island (thanks Mayor Giuliani!) this year, it's a pleasant 1/2 hour and the views are the best you are going to get of the skyline and the Statue of Liberty. Highly recommend it if you find yourself in the Big Apple.
Mind blown, New York, in all aspects from the glitzy to the gritty was a cultural festival of life and attitude, a hard knock attitude that can only be accepted or you fall and never get up. A city made for the camera and a people made to put you in your place, a city of pro's and con's, avenues and streets, moods and reflection, but a city that should be on your bucket list, and should be visited, if only once, if only to say Iv'e been to New York.
I certainly don't remember the military this way!
If all military recruits of the female sex, look like this one, there would be no problems of the military branches filling their enlistment quotas. I believe her last name might be Slomba?

Many members of the Military branches showed up at Times Square in New York City as many of the local restaurants in the area were offering free dinners to veterans and as well to Ex- Veterans on Veterans Day.

Santiago Calatrava Valls brilliant design of scale, size, and optical illusion on the confines where 4 streets meet designed a single, solitary building within the overall context of its surroundings. Next to the foot print fountains, PA did good allowing this master make a fitting masterpiece.
Another great Eduardo Kobra piece. "Mount Rushmore of Art" depicts four iconic artists, on the iconic Mount Rushmore. From left to right, the mural shows Andy Warhol, Frida Kahlo, Keith Haring, and Jean-Michel Basquiat in Kobra's distinctive brightly colored geometric shapes. It's a vibrant and fitting tribute to these great artists.
The theater is located at 253 W. 125th Street in Harlem on the borough of Manhattan, in the City of New York. The Apollo Theater in NYC is one of the most famous music halls in the United States, and the most famous club associated almost exclusively with African-American performers.

The Dublin House opened as a speakeasy in 1919. The townhouse was once owned by Emily Post. Did the queen of etiquette know about the illicit imbibing?. The neon harp, a mere 89 years old, made its first appearance in 1933, at the end of Prohibition. The bar’s original owner, Dublin-born John Carway, was apparently ready to advertise.
As for the White rabbits, it's an Irish folklore, I picked up growing up on the Westside. That on April 1st when you wake, that the first thing you say should be White rabbits 3x...

How these classic painted buildings adds from the 30s still are legible, but they are dwindling. NYC in the days of sea travels was a bustling point of entry for products across the globe. These few ads are the remnants of the days of sea travel.
Reflections of the modern skyline, it adds a striking addition to the always changing skyline. Can say I like this one.
3 icons of.NYC, Manhattan Bridge, One Manhattan square, and if you look really good a glimpse of the Empire State Bldg.
Bowling green station. One of the two still standing Station headhouse dates to 1904.
Bowling Green was a significant cultural site before Europeans arrived. Once was residence for the chief of the Leni Lenape Native tribe at the southern end of the Wickquasgeck trail, now called by its modern name Broadway. Hence why it's non straight course north through Manhattan.
