Nets drying on the island of Sipan, Croatia. They come in a lovely variety of soft subtle colours as if natural dyes are used. I would be interested to know if anyone can confirm that.
Adeloneivaia type of moth seen at Cristalino Lodge, Alta Floresta, Brazil 06.10.2015. Cristalino Lodge is located beside the River Cristalino, within a private forest reserve in the southern part of the Amazon rainforest.

Ok....it's 10.30 p.m. ...why can't I see about 90% of your galeries, images ??? is this a case of Bad Panda....or is flickr/yahoo up to something again!!

It's sometimes surprising what's hiding behind a dreary winter sky. This was taken at the Black Butte Dam overlook. Visibility was limited due to the weather but I was intriqued by the position of the rock facings and the trees and decided it was worth a shot. Backlighting and layering helped bring out the colors in the sky and then I used a texture called pink spotlight from pareeerica www.flickr.com/photos/8078381@N03/ .
Tonight in Photo Club we talked about textures and being more artistic with our images. Here's my attempt!

The new texture pack has a free bird brush pack in it with over 40 Birds. The brushes work in Photoshop.
Best place to see images with the new textures is in the Facebook Group. I tried to upload some Sunday but apparently there was a strike of sorts! :)

Was going to ad the lyrics to the Australian song from Gangajang but the only part of the song that suited this shot was.....
"That certain texture, that certain smell,.......this is Australia", so that is all I used :-)
Red dirt and Eucalyptus leaves.....typically Australian.
