Lovely texture from Playing with Brushes

Kapukaheku Beach, Molokai, Hawaii.

Believe it or not, I found this tiny piece of white coral perched this way on this giant lava boulder. I was struck at the similarities in texture between the two despite the fact that one was crafted by fire in the belly of the earth and the other built by tiny creatures of the sea.
