This is Antioch Schoolhouse # 77 in Clark Co. Mo. Built in 1904. Closed in 1965. This bell tower was the second to last original bell tower left in our county. Now it is on my Happy Hill Schoolhouse ! A friend and me lowered it in a pick up 5 years ago, not as easy as it sounds. The roof was very weak and since has caved in. It has a bell now and is the only country schoolhouse with a ringing bell. Kids love it. I salvaged haf its wainscoating, 2 shelves with coat racks that fit our school, a light, and even the opening in the ceiling for the bells rope so it can be rang inside. This is an earlier digital with white out sky doctored up with texture.

When talking about photography texture refers to the visual quality of the surface of an object, revealed through variances in shape, tone and color depth. Texture brings life and vibrance to images that would otherwise appear flat and uninspiring.
AAW: Rope, String, or Ribbon
The rope belongs to our doggy--she loves to chew and play with it. The background is a scarf of mine. I wanted to play with texture.

Our internet saga continues...Well, the cable guy found the issue is at the main, not just the wiring in our house. We now register a negative 4. Up from a negative 7 last week!! Yippie! :-(
I hear fiber optics is coming our way soon.
