Tonights sky blew up!
Stuck at home and there was nothing to shoot wide angle, so i took out the telephoto for a different perspective!
20x5min subs + 46 darks @ ISO1600,
Modded 1000D @ -3degC
skywatcher 8in f5 reflector.
Celestron CGE mount.
Baader MPCC.
CLS-CCD LP clip in filter.
Stacked in DSS and processed in PixIsight.
The graceful curves of the petal around the bud of this lilly caught my eye.

From a boardwalk over a geyser field in Yellowstone National Park, you can see the abstract artistry of Mother Nature. The interaction of scalding hot water, laden with minerals, and the extremophile microorganisms that live in this harsh environment, combine to create breathtaking beauty.

Part of an 8-ft tall brick tower supporting a fairly good sized flower planter.
Those salt deposits on the surface of the bricks are the result of a natural process called efflorescence (the word comes from the French "to flower out"). That kinda makes this a total flower-power tower, eh?
