I don't know why I, a life-long teacher, like this Pink Floyd song as much as I do. Perhaps it's because I never used "dark sarcasm in the classroom". For those who either enjoy the song or want to hear it for the first time, feel free to click on this link:

The forest below Monte Amiata in Tuscany, Italy, is mesmerising when you are looking skywards amongst the high birch trees. We spent a long hour here pointing our lenses upwards to the clear clean Autumn sky. Canon EOS 5D Mark II, Canon TS-E 24mm f3.5L, ISO 100, f8 at 1/160 second.

Thank you for looking.

Yesterday's post was indeed an elastic band which I found discarded on the desk. It had rolled itself into that very convenient shape. Do you know what this is? Perhaps the icon will tell you. The texture is by Weisimel and called wooden wounds.

I hope your Sunday is a happy one. I will be buried in words again but I am getting there.

This is the most mileage I've gotten out of a photo of myself on a bad hair day. Hurrah for scarves.

A few weeks ago you could see the result of an extravaganza of crocheted trims. Today the trims are handmade laces.
