This is a classic scene from Venice, and I decided to make it more classical by adding about seven textures to the final result. This is a spot you have to go to in the morning to get that sun, since I'm facing the east here. I wish it was a sunset location, since I hate waking up early. I love sleeping in, like a cat.

I belong to this set. Textures
The water flowing down the rocks of Jacobs Falls makes a rush of texture. The cascading whisps dangle like ribbons in the wind.
A combination of good planning (lunar cycle), good luck (weather conditions) and a lot of paitience went into this photo of the milky way. That and a few youtube videos of post processing milky way photos.
I took this image at Møn's (Moen) klint nature reserve in the southern part of sealand in Denmark. The area has very little light pollution which really made the milky way pop.
I am quite satisfied with the outcome.

This is life on the river. Sometimes. On quiet windless days, just floating down hoping something will nibble. Rather like life sometimes. My life is the opposite of this at present so I take comfort looking at this. Hope you do too. I used les brumes beautiful texture /048 here

Or, as we say in Baltimore, "Wish I was downey o-shun, hon".
If you've seen the movie "Hairspray", John Travolta does a pretty good Baltimore accent. I can turn on the Baltimore when I want to, but every now and then, the "o" slips out. We have a way of pronouncing "o's" so it sounds kind of like a smooth "eehhhww". It really pops out when I say "no" and "home".
