This is what a text block looks like while it's being made. Can you believe it?
Note the use of the back of a canvas board in lieu of a self healing cutting mat. Aww yeah.
These words made up the large, base text making the first layer of stripes. The smaller phrases were painted over this.

This was a total accident and I don't understand how it happened but, with a little processing to tone down the overexposure, I kind of like the result.

I just wanted to illustrate how the new Text feature in PicMonkey is much more flexible. One text box, but multiple fonts, sizes, and colours.

Text mapping is a simple technique that has many advantages:
- students see the entire text at the same time- they can make connections , underline/highlight words, text features, plot etc
- the level of understanding and engagement are higher! (from my own experience :P)
This is actually just a candid of a cute girl at the park, but considering the We're Here theme today, I decided she must be texting her boyfriend goodbye. It's the way these things are done these days, right?
And now for the bad news; walking home after dark from our day out taking photos, I stepped on an uneven piece of pavement, twisted my ankle and slammed myself on the ground. Now I've got a twisted ankle, a bruised knee and an utterly destroyed Nikon D-90. At least the lens survived the fall. Oh well, I've been lusting after a D7100 since they came out, I guess I've now got a reason to buy one.
My old Irish granny in Kilburn had a mangle. I think it was a good way to press an unwanted random crease into the material.
I guess the owner wanted the text to be readable, so they stuck it underneath the ribbon icon. I'm pretty sure it's not a magnet, but a piece of static cling plastic stuff.

NOTE: The shirts were measured while laid flat on a surface. Best to compare the measurements with your existing shirts.
HOW TO MEASURE:
shoulder width - from the top edge of the shirt's shoulder point going to the opposite side.
chest width - from the shirt's left armpit going to the right armpit
length - from one top shoulder point all the way down to the shirt's edge.
