I got this text today. I assume it's a wrong number and not spam, since it's from my area code.
I hope it worked out for her to get her brows did.
Rena turned to face the intruder, fingers flying over the keys as she answered the text. Her mouth settles into a grim line and she growls softly before glancing up.
Guin is sorely tempted to make a comment about the man fitting Pera's tastes, but manages to refrain so this didn't devolve into stabbing. Though, it still could. "He does seem to lack your bantering skills... I thought that was a requirement of entry." She glances behind her at the question, but it's Rena's texting that draws her attention. "Now what?" she whispers.
Rena flips the phone open and let out a little screech of rage as she read. "That fucking, no good... " Fingers fly again. "... k if that's how you want to play," was murmured low as she virtually ignored the group.
Chi winces and cuts his eyes toward Rena, wondering what the -fuck- she was doing now.
Masha's floofy coyote tail brushes against Guin's legs as she startles in reaction to Rena's irate explosion and she lifts a hand to cover her pounding heart. "What?"! she huffs.
Guin is tempted to snatch the phone out of her hand to see what's going on.
Rena looks up. "I have to meet someone at the TZ, I won't be long, can we meet up somewhere? Snake Pit, maybe?"

I have had my eye on all of the amazing quilted tote bags popping up on blogs and Flickr all summer. I put together the log cabin-ish side of this tote about a month ago. I picked out four text prints and then just reached into my scrap basket for whatever would fit. Then, after getting some amazing text charms from my Flickr friend, I put together the patchwork side. It is a really large tote, which was exactly what I wanted. I lined it with a print from IKEA that I got for $0.99/yard. I quilted the patchwork side with 1/4" straight lines and the other side with a stipple stitch. It held a ton of supplies, perfect for entire days spent at the park with the kiddos.
Originally I put the straps on too far towards the boxed end, so I took them off and reattached them. Much better!!
