Charterail road rail train in the RTC yard at Derby, June 1991. The KDA 3 vehicle train was formed of Y25 Bogies CRL 96101-96104, Adaptor (with buffers) CRL 96201, Adaptor (intermediate) CRL 96221-96222, Adaptor (with buffers) CRL 96281, Rail/Road Trailers CRL 96301-96303. Testing commenced in late June 1991, however the test programme was postponed on the 1st July 1991 following structural failure of one of the Rail/Road trailers during a ride test passing Melton Mowbray.
