The roof offers a 360° view over the city. The peep holes are good for fun... and for photographers.
"Life often doesn’t make sense. Assholes get promoted, the wrong people are pretty, that car never inches far enough into the intersection when making a left, and there’s always that one idiot who hears your hilarious joke and just says it louder. I HATE that guy. But I digress. Life often doesn’t make sense. So whenever life throws you a spitball, just remember Calvinball. Yes, Calvinball, the glorious game with only one rule: You can’t play the same way twice. Much like life, in Calvinball, a lot of things don’t make sense, you have to make up rules as you go, and the score really doesn’t matter (unless you can tell me who’s winning in this Q to 12 scenario). When life is rough – and even when it’s not – remember Calvinball, and don’t be afraid to make up rules and embrace the insanity of it all. It doesn’t always have to make sense, it doesn’t always have to be so serious, and sometimes there’s a sweet relief to that surrender." - Katie Kirnan - '10 Life Lessons from Calvin & Hobbes'

Another WIP shot of my current building. There is a large section of the bottom floor that has very little support underneath so all the support needs to be in the ceiling.

A simple "pony" shows off this decorative shaker bottle of body powder. Can you see the gem dangling from the bow? What customer wouldn't want to buy a product that looks so pretty?

There is a 3L bar thru the middle holding the two 1x1 round studs with holes together. It also sticks out a bit at the bottom making it spin nicely.
It drove me nuts assembling it the first time since it kept falling apart before i could but the second small dish on.
But the second time round it was easy since I figure out a technique to hold it all together with my big fingers.
I used Lawn Fawn letters and Technique Tuesday watercolor crayons and the twine is from the Twinery.

For 7DOS - Life & Living Things - Technique Thursday
This is an old picture, just birds and cats would get boring and all I've got as an alternative is a fly and no sunlight and I do want to do animals ...
First technique: use a different angle and background than is usual.
Second technique: I wanted to accentuate the way the dog was looking away. First I cropped so there is much space for the dog to look into. Second I got rid of anything interfering with us seeing that look, such as colours and too many details. Therefore black and white and also overexposure and less clarity. The result was more dramatic with more overexposure and even less clarity but this way it's still a realistic picture.
It's hard to know when to stop ;)
