A new, still growing technical museum in the northern Bohemian city Liberec, which should present the extremely rich industrial and technical history of the region. The exposition halls are growing in the former exposition area, and there are still many unique and very rare exponates hidden in depositories.

Part of No 1 School of Technical Training (No 1 SoTT) at RAF Cosford, 238 Squadron have a fleet of SEPECAT Jaguar GR1 and GR3 aircraft, which are used for Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic training. With many thanks to staff of 238 Sqn, I was allowed to photograph the Jaguar aircraft at will, predominantly to provide the detail for a forthcoming 1/48 scale 54 Sqn Jaguar that is being made for me, the first aircraft that I worked on at RAF Coltishall after completing my tech training back in the early 80’s.
For a smaller cooperative, they have truly prioritized the need to bring more attentive, tailored support to each of their members. There are now four individuals working on an agronomic agenda and poised to visit Cinco de Junio's 150 members throughout the course of the harvest.

A visit to the Coventry Transport Museum.
From March 2014 to June 2015 the museum was undergoing a project to transform the museum.
When I went only a couple of galleries were closed. Most were open though.

The Jaguar Heritage gallery is the newest gallery at Coventry Transport Museum, having opened in July 2013.
Entitled The Jaguar Story – A History of Design and Technical Innovation, the gallery is split into five sections, covering ‘The Early Years’ (1920s to 1940s), ‘the Post War Boom and Glamorous 50s’, ‘The Swinging 6os’, ‘Growth and Consolidation’ (70s to 00s), and ‘Jaguar Present and Future’ (2005 and on…).

The CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS) is supporting actors establishing Local Technical Agroclimatic Working Groups in three municipalities in Colombia, bringing together agronomists, seasonal forecasters, and farmers’ knowledge to link climate science to local knowledge through the analysis of agroclimatic information. Monthly Local Agroclimatic Bulletins with specific adaptation recommendations are being produced. There is a great opportunity to strengthen the groups with more scientific support and capacity building, such as pest and disease analysis also linked to soil management, genetic resources as an adaptation technology (including beans, rice, forages, and cassava), market linkages through climate-smart agriculture (CSA) practices, as well as sustainable production tools regarding carbon and/or water footprint opportunities at local scale. The Hatfield Technical College was opened in 1952, and this photo, by John W. Read, must have been taken in about 1954. Later known as the Hatfield College of Technology, then Hatfield Polytechnic, it is now the University of Hertfordshire.
