My son had this LEGO technic car arrive. He set to work on it the moment he got home from school, pausing only for dinner, then back into it until 9:30, when he went to bed. He was up again by 6, and this was where he was at half an hour later when I got up.
Before painting (or affixing a butterfly to a wall), I scrape the surface down to the bare adobe. Then I apply a sealant. Then comes gesso and paint.
One shot of the classroom where I was later to give a short presentation on technical communication. Chuck Murray is at the front desk.

TEPCO Factory Exterior - Front Entrance - 1955
Originally founded in 1918, the Technical Porcelain and China Ware Company began with John Battista Pagliero's backyard operations in Albany, CA.
This TEPCO factory building (shown) in El Cerrito, CA was built in 1947 on the site of the original factory, which opened in 1930 and was twice damaged by fire: on June 5, 1937 and on May 22, 1946.
TEPCO closed its factory doors in 1968, the same year John Pagliero died.
Look at this beast! Technics began sponsoring the DMC World DJ Championships in the mid-1980s. Although the brand still co-sponsors the event, by 2009 they had dropped as a main sponsor. The DMC sponsorship was a brilliant marketing move on behalf of Panasonic: they had direct access to their market at these events and on video. Starting 1989, DMC World Champs got gold 1200s; in 2009 DMC actually had to buy them from Technics; in 2010 and beyond they are not given out.

Completely empty because there are no expeditions in November. The photo cannot capture the scale of the place. For instance, Sergei, who seems very tiny on the bottom left of the photo, is really close. In between of what appears as two "hills", is the famous and dangerous Khumbu Icefall, where the technical part of the climb to Everest starts.
Here is how to make the 8265 motorized. You should build the model by the original instructions and check my instructions for the modifications. Email - nagyabonyiattila@gmail.com
