Holy contrast and detail!
Pioneer Center, Reno, Nev., as shot on Kodak Technical Pan 25 from the Film Photography Project on my Olympus XA2 and developed at The Darkroom.
Technical details:
Shot with 5Dmk2 and 100mm macro on tripod. Straws taped to window. Natural backlight, shot at 1/30, f/13, ISO 400.
Technically not a zoo animal, as it is a wild squirrel which just happens to live on the trees in the zoo area.
The inaugural Saturday Social last Saturday 18th August at Cathays Social Club.
I played the opening set between 19.30 to 20.30 where not a soul danced but as soon as I'd finished my set, everyone was lubricated enough to venture onto the dancefloor.
Gareth the organiser has only just invited me to play the next one which falls on September the 15th, he's also offered me a later slot so that may be a challenge to get folk dancing.

I am a very sad girl today as yesterday when I moved all my photos to my external hard drive to free up some space on my computer all the photos I had uploaded to Flickr disappeared along with all my contacts lovely comments and any photos that made Explore disappear as well :-(. It happened before and I have now found out that it has something to do with the synchronising of iphoto and the uploaded I use to upload to Flickr. In an attempt to console myself I made a collage of my shots from "52in2013" which I have posted below and have used it along with my MacBook Pro as my shot for this week. Maybe if I had been more technically minded with my computer this would have not happened and hence the tie in with the theme this week. Looking forward to seeing all your takes on the theme. :-)
Mainframe makes repairs to the landing pad's radar dish on the Mobile P.I.T when the weather starts to turn ugly.........
