A Food Truck & Technology Event in Downtown Orlando
Trucks & Tech is a mashup of two cultures that we love – foodies and techies. This is the only event around that combines discussion from leaders in the Central Florida tech community with top local food trucks to fill attendees’ minds and stomachs with the best of the best. For Trucks & Tech II: Trucktoberfest we have added a twist! This Oktoberfest themed event will feature German inspired food from each food truck, an all new Startup Alley, a costume contest and beer boots galore. So bring your lawn chairs, blankets and German spirit for a night of tech, food and fun.
Tech Cocktail was excited to partner with GE for an inspiring night of innovation with special guest Justin Fishkin of Local Motors. The attendees not only left the event with nuggets of information and dreams to build the next revolution of refrigerators, but many walked away with small trinkets they built on the 3D printers and laser cutters that were on exhibit. It was quite a night!

We're breaking the rules by not posting pics of actual food, but what the heck. We're revealing one of Asheville's best lunch spots you've never heard of - AB Tech's culinary department.
You go to lunch here, on the college campus, by getting on a special e-mail list, then calling a secret phone number, leaving your information, then praying you get a call back confirming your reservation.
You'll arrive to find a staff of students bending over backwards to prepare the best damn food they can, and serve it to you with unfailing politeness. Course instructors will come by your table to chat and be sure everything is just right.
And it's the most inexpensive lunch you'll find around town.
