i just discovered the cyberdock where the new tech-rex is built. this is the view from it's cockpit, looking over the back which is hundreds feet long and heavily protected. well just kidding it's a trainstation waiting hall photographed from it's restaurant area. eat good, sleep good, have a nice fantasy :P

I had been planning on going to Arrochar this morning, but went a day early. Probably just as well, as the shot I wound up with couldn't have been any better if I planned it.
It did involve a bit of a scramble over wet, mossy rocks with footholds smaller than the balls of my feet, but the final result is well worth it.
I shot this waterfall before, several years ago and I've only been back once or twice with nothing really to show for it. Probably my best kept secret location! It's not really that secret right enough, but if too many people find out exactly where it is I guess it'll get kinda ruined.
The foreground is a bunch of dead leaves caught in an eddy. The filter combination I used slowed it down to a 3 minute exposure which made the awesome swirl,

Ještě před rokem jsem Ústí považoval za cizí město. Za rohem, ale celkem cizí. Až poslední rok to měnil. A čím déle někde člověk je, tím víc hledá různé výzvy.
A tahle se zrodila tak nějak spontánně. Vyfotit zdymadla od severu a z tohohle břehu? Šlo by to vůbec? Samozřejmě jen za dlouhých dnů, ale tady to navíc komplikuje skála, která končí až u Větruše.
Ten den se mi řešení nabídlo skoro samo. Odpoledne jsem zavřel v kanclu počítač trochu dřív a zajel si ještě k řece. Dva peršingy od Prahy v tom oblouku pod výhybnou jih... ale počkej, co se to děje na té koleji do přístavu?
Jedna z těch krásně olezlých ústeckých banglí se vydala na výlet s vozy, zřejmě s obilím. Čekal jsem na ni v těch kopřivách dobrou půlhodinu a sledoval, jestli to vyjde. Trefit ten moment, kdy už je dobrý úhel a ještě ne stín... No, vyšlo to perfektně... :)
