While planning my PAC NW trip for May, I found this image from a previous trip there.
This is along the north entrance road into Mount Rainier National Park. I don't believe the Sun showed itself all day.

I know I barely post on here anymore, sorry! The majority of my content has moved over to Twitter as it's simply easier to communicate with y'all. I'll upload here more often!
After seeing Studio Trigger's latest film PROMARE, I knew I had to build something for it. I know other people have built this little guy before but I wanted to try building one for myself. Introducing Galo's stylized rescue mech, the Matoi Tech!
Really not much to say here build-wise. I threw it together in less than a day and could've done with some better pieces but I made do with what I had. It's a decently poseable little bot but it does require a stand in order to... well... stand. It does fit Galo, or at least his upper half as there's really no way to fit a minifigure's legs in there the same way they are on the original design, so some suspension of disbelief is required (not as much as you need when watching the film, though!)
I threw in some pictures of the inner frame as well if anyone is interested in replicating this. I probably made it more complicated than I needed to but I like the more mechanical look.
