Getting the lid and actuators right for the Virginia Tech RTS. This RTS was designed to fit in a Dodge truck allowing the storage units in the shoulders of the truck bed to open while using the RTS.\
Tech Con was held at Hoover High School on June 12 and 13. The conference provides learning opportunities for educators to use technology in their classrooms. Kelly Schofield, DMPS Director of Elementary Teaching & Learning, and Dr. Ryan Wise, Director of the Iowa Department of Education, were the keynote speakers.
Tech Cocktail and Disruption Corporation hosted a panel of some of DC’s biggest startup investors at the Crystal Tech Fund. It was a full room with great conversations.

As the presenting sponsor of this year’s Tech Challenge, more than 160 Cisco employees volunteered at the event as judges and event support. Arun Sriranan, a software engineer at Cisco, helps with judging the student projects. He said the students were having a lot of fun and he wondered, "why am I not doing this stuff?"
