A Food Truck & Technology Event in Downtown Orlando
Trucks & Tech is a mashup of two cultures that we love – foodies and techies. This is the only event around that combines discussion from leaders in the Central Florida tech community with top local food trucks to fill attendees’ minds and stomachs with the best of the best. For Trucks & Tech II: Trucktoberfest we have added a twist! This Oktoberfest themed event will feature German inspired food from each food truck, an all new Startup Alley, a costume contest and beer boots galore. So bring your lawn chairs, blankets and German spirit for a night of tech, food and fun.

I call this shot “Tech Denver” because it makes me think of dystopian science fiction: William Gibson cyberpunk novels, gritty neon movies like Bladerunner, or maybe Shadowrun for you gamers out there. There’s probably a giant AI supercomputer in one of those corporate spires, and some deckers trying to hack in from another. Maybe there’s a rigger and a team of hired guns in that lit up car, waiting for the “go” signal. What it really needs is a few nice hovercars flying around up top, but there weren’t any out that night. Maybe I should just ‘shop some in there…
